This situation always occured for a long time, just tried the recent version 4.0 SR-2 still same:

BUG REPORT:
Once I clicked "Get Today's Image" or "Cycle From The Last Days", then CPU will be suddenly keeping at high usage:

Not sure, maybe downloading the file.

I can recreate the issue by cycling wallpaper from the last day too fast, then the CPU usage will keeping at high and BingSnap stopped changing the old wallpaper, please cleck it out.
