Hello

Is it possible to make number more visible, is it because there is no cleartype options? Im unable to make it look like windows 11.

Thanks

Hi,

Thank you for your trying MemInfo.

It's not related to clear type, the issue here is the MemInfo lack of support for High DPI displays (Percentage Scale) so in the current version, displays above 100% will display the icon fuzzy.

MemInfo 4 currently in development and out soon, will support both 64bit systems and high DPI devices, so stay tuned.

Note: MemInfo 4 will be a 64 bit application only.

Thanks!

Thanks, it really looks nice and readable.

..but i noticed a weird problem only with meminfo, dont know is it windows fault or what but tray icon keeps hidden position after restart or shut down, no matter what i do, even if its set to "show".
Thats not all, it shows multiple meminfo icons on taskbar settings "Hidden icon menu" and over time the list is getting longer and longer. Now i have like 9 meminfo icons on the list :D

Hi,

Are you using a Windows 11 preview version? or is it the latest version publicly available (all the latest automatic updates)?

Anyway try this version (you can run portable) and please report if the problem persists

Let me know,
Thanks!

I uninstalled meminfo and tried portable version but no difference, it starts doing same things like installed version.

i even tried this registry hack but no luck.. i guess this is only windows 11 problem..

Hi,

It's strange because we have two laptops running Windows 11 23H2 and MemInfo icon stays visible.

I'll see if this can be fixed in any way.

If you find out more that could be useful, please let me know, since it's happening in your system.

Thanks!

Thank you for your replies and checking into my problem.

I thought it was fixed but my happiness were premature.

Hi,

Glad it apparently was fixed with a restore, I'm sure this is something on Microsoft end, but we have to see if they are doing changes to the tray icons display.

Hope you can enjoy MemInfo!

Everything worked normal, windows showed it was up to date
until 23H2 update appeared and after installing update, meminfo started doing same things i described earlier. It seems that 23H2 update is what causing the problem for me.

Update:
I did little test uninstalled version 4 and switched back to version 3.51 SR1, made multiple restarts and shut downs and so far it looks like no such problems occur. I think i stick to this version even tho numbers are not that readable. At least it gets rid of annoyance that i have to manually drag meminfo tray icon to unhidden position every time i boot up my laptop.
Dunno why 4.0 version causing problems for me.

Thanks again for your time :)

My Thinkbook laptop came with windows 11 21H2 and i updated it to 23H2 when update came available and i thought that something went wrong while updating it to 23H2.
Today i made another test just to check it out if thats true and downloaded latest windows 11 23H2 iso from microsoft website and made bootable usb with rufus. Then did clean install + latest updates and then installed meminfo 4.0 and again nothing changed - same weird problems like before.

Dunno whats going on, only 3.51 works perfectly but version 4 is cursed for me LOL

Came here to report the same issue.
Except I'm operating on Win10 22H2(With the latest updates)
I've been using this software for over a decade now I think,
never had this issue where the app icon at the system tray just goes hidden upon OS boot up.
Already tried resetting & clearing both notification settings or system tray cache settings, still the same.
It appears that the OS has been treating it as a new software every time.

Btw, I've been looking forward to this specific feature.
Is it possible that you could also do the color changing function on the numeric text as well?
Personally, I don't like the bar indicator, so I keep it transparent all the time. The numeric UI is more than enough.
And it would be a shame that the text color wouldn't change according to the RAM usage.

Thanks for the speedy response!

Is this the insider preview version?
I've tested it for multiple times, and it works!
The app icon will now stay and won't go peek-a-boo on you.
