Only a window in the upper left corner with partial displayed info from Outlook entires with black backround. No possiblity to change, nothing at all.
Sorry, can't cut&paste the dektop with the black DeskTask screen.

How to proceed?

Found the ATI info with disabling a specific routine, but here is my Graphics info from WIN XP Systeminformation -- no ATI !

Installation on my Acer Travelmate 6600 w the following display dev/drv:

Hi,

So far all reports regarding transparency issues were related to ATI graphics cards.
I can suggest you try downloading the latest drivers for your Intel graphics card.

Other than that there are not many workarounds that can be done.

Did you ever tried other application which might apply transparency effects to windows to see if you have the same problem?
