Hi
I have a VAIO TX1XP running Windows XP SP2 and Outlook 2003. Having done a search, I can say that I'm only running the laptop screen (though I have dual screened in the past - not in this particular session, however). Also, the laptop is docked.
I have just installed Desktask but all I get is a black, rectangular window?
Is there a setting I need to change?
Thank you in advance
John

Hi,
By default DeskTask always shows a transparent window, so it's most certainly directly related to the drivers of your Laptop's graphic adapter.
Have you tried downloading the latest version of the drivers?
Thanks,

With RC6 I experience a similar phenomenon.
After moving the DT-Box around on the screen the background of the DT-Box stays black until I restart the tool. Using the option Rfresh or changing something in the DT-Preferences is not solving the issue.
It worked before RC6 and I did not change the graphic drivers in the meantime.
Cheers

Before as in any of the previous RC versions? It's odd because there were no changes in DeskTask core, Maybe a issue of transparency?

I don't remember any major change in the Desktop window that could cause that, and it does not happen here nor have been any complains identical to your problem, I guess it's something that changed in your computer?

I think I found the problem. It micht be the Hydravision Software of ATI.
