thank you very much for this beutifull tool. One question:
is there a source code available for it? I would play with it a bit and may be find out a way to fix the problem with russian chars.

Desktask is freeware but not open source.

Russian characters are Unicode, and Desktask at the moment does not support Unicode (2 byte chars).

A new application (or at least the core) would have to be rewritten to support Unicode.
