Two great options would be :

- tasks ordered by date
- choose what categories of task to display (or not to display)

I've got many repetitive tasks scheduled each day (just to remind me some boring stuff) that I don't want to be displayed, so that the "real" task are more visible. So I could assign these task to some category and ask DeskTask not to display them.

PS : "categorie" is the french word Outlook 2003 use to assign things like "Goal", "Gift", "Phone call" etc... Sorry, I don't know what is the english word for that.

This can be done, probably for the next version.

I'm not sure about this suggestion. One of the goals I want to archive with DeskTask is simplicity, I don't know if bringing categories to the tasks would be useful for many user's. I personally never use categories.

Besides you can easily archive what you want simply by creating a new task folder in outlook and use that folder for those "boring" tasks, keeping the "real" tasks in the main tasks folder, which are displayed on the desktop via DeskTask.

What do you think?

thanks for the suggestions,
