 DeskTask does not display anything

I have DeskTask 1.00 service release 1, and I am running it on Windows XP SP2 with Outlook 2003 SP2. When I run DeskTask, I don't see any evidence of it on my desktop -- no windows or output at all. I've tried Restore Position, Hide/Unhide Window, I can't get it to display anything. I have told XP to not show any desktop icons, but Samurize doesn't seem to have a problem displaying to the desktop with that enabled.

I don't get any errors and I don't see any problems in Event Viewer or in a log file in the DeskTask directory. DeskTask can open Outlook Calendar/Tasks/etc. if I tell it to, so it is seeing my Outlook configuration.

Does anyone have any ideas why it is not displaying?

Hi,

sorry to hear that, there are problems running in Windows Vista, but in Windows XP DeskTask run's smooth.

1) do you have a multi-monitor setup?

2) you mentioned sumarize, have you tried disabling all desktop applications you may have have.

3) Make sure the transparency level in display options is not at 100%
