In the "Workspace" pane - the "Workspace" Root Tree Node seems to be of no purpose or function and takes up a lot of valuable screen horizontal screen display area by moving all of its children to the right. See below screenshot between how filename visibility is reduced between Twistpad vs. Textpad by having this redundant tree node there:

Thanks again for the suggestion.

It might make sense when in "document order" (the default view) however if you select "group by file type" you will see that the extra space is nicely filed by the +/- sings of the tree!



Also, this leaves a possibility for, in the future, make the workspace tree additional information like having recent opened files or even amalgamate the project and the workspace files!
