I notice Twistpad to be quite slow when it comes to skipping to the end or beginning of a document or a line. For example I can visually see Twistpad scrolling the entire document if I hit cntrl-end or cntrl-home. Likewise if I hit the end key on a long line, I can see Twistpad scroll the entire line to get there instead of just jumping to the end. I can only imagine this will get even more time consuming on larger files, Is there a way speed up this process so that it is near instantaneous? In most other editors I've used (textpad, pspad, ultraedit, notepad, crimson, etc...) it isn't noticeable except in the largest of files. |
