Can someone help me?

After a re-installation of TwistPad, I found that my plugins were not working. I'm using the "SwitchCase.dll" plugin and I have it in the fowllowing three locations:

C:\Program Files\Twistpad\Plugins
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Carthago\Twistpad\Plugins
C:\Documents and Settings\janec\Application Data\Carthago\Twistpad\Plugins

I think there needs to be more support in degards to installing the Plugins.

Hi,

Plugins should go in :

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Carthago\Twistpad\Plugins

So make sure you have SwitchCase.dll in that folder.
You can delete both the other folders you listed.

Please confirm that the plugin appears under "Edit" - "Change Case" - "Switch Case"

if not, delete the file at
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Carthago\Twistpad\Plugins\SwitchCase.dll and try downloading the latest version from our site and extract to the mentioned folder.

The DLL file is in that location but TwistPad is still not using the plug in. Can you make an installer that does this?

Also, Twistpad now loses my shortcut keys. For some reasons, Ctrl-Z no longer undo's! "Ctrl-Z" is not event in the Edit menu. Furthermore, When I selenct some text and hit Tab, the text gets earased, as before it used to enden the seleted text line. Why is TwistPad losing my setting like this?

Hi,

I would suggest performing a full uninstall of Twistpad, and reinstall again using the latest version available on the Site.

After uninstall make sure none of the this folders (and subfolders) exist:
C:\Program Files\Twistpad\
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Carthago\Twistpad\
C:\Documents and Settings\janec\Application Data\Carthago\Twistpad\

You can make backup of custom syntax/macros/snippets and templates you may have (later you can manually restore them)

After installing, make sure to download the switchcase.dll from the site and extract it to the "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Carthago\Twistpad\Plugins" folder.

An installer for plugins is being considered.

Let me know if it solved both the plugin and the shortcuts problem

There is no way to change the password in the current forum version.
Let me know if you wish that I delete the user so you can create it again with the new desired password.

Hello.

The original problem is back!!!!!

It's forgotten my menu shortcuts. Why is this happening?

Is there away to store the settings in an INI file that I can make read only, rather than using the Registry?

HELP!

Hi,

Sorry to read that you are losing the shortcuts.

In any way can you provide the steps, or anything useful to try to reproduce the problem?

To fix either reinstall Twistpad or if you are familiar with editing the registry simply delete this branch:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Carthago\Twistpad\Shortcuts

(please be careful with registry editing, if you don't have experience with the registry don't do it)
