If I have multiple documents open, and I do a search in one of them, then switch to another document and select 'Quick Find Forward', it doesn't search for the same word as in the previous document.
Is this expected behaviour? I would prefer it the way I just described. I often use it when I open up a file, where a function is defined, then select it and press 'Quick Find Forward', and switch to a document where the function is used and press 'Quick Find Forward' again to locate it. This saves me using the copy-buffer, and opening up the 'Find' dialogue. |
