I've just realised that with 'code outlining' switched off, which is the setting I prefer...
Clicking to the side of the element collapses the block but with no feedback as to the fact it is collapsed and having done this a couple of times now I can assure you it is quite disturbing trying to find out what is going on.
Is there any chance you could change this behavior so collapsing is disabled when code outline is switched off?

P.S. Forgot to mention this is while editing css files.

Hi,
Thanks for reporting this, it's indeed a nasty bug and will be fixed for the next version.
Sorry for this, I will anticipate the 1.61 release ASAP.
